Didn't see this trailer coming. HoYoverse dropped it quietly and the community lost it. Five years of waiting to see the Tsaritsa's face and it just happened. Watched it twice already and still processing.

Snezhnaya has always been the biggest mystery in Genshin lore. Why did the Fatui collect Archon Hearts? Is the Tsaritsa actually a villain? What is Project Stuzha? Version 7.0 is finally going to answer these.

Anastasya — The Tsaritsa Has a Face Now

Full name: Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya. The Cryo Archon. The one behind everything.

The trailer shows her remembering a child. That child called her mother. The Heavenly Principles took the child away. That one scene changed how I see her completely. Five years of "Tsaritsa is the villain" and now I'm not sure anymore. Maybe she's the only Archon actually fighting Celestia. Maybe everything she did was for something personal.

We don't know yet. 7.0 will tell us.

Playable? Almost certainly yes, probably in one of the 7.X patches. If Anastasya is your target, start planning your Genshin Impact crystal reserves now because that banner is going to be massive.

Noy — Said Very Little, Meant a Lot

First time I saw Noy I thought "this character is ancient." Turns out probably right.

He gets one line in the trailer. Says the current age feels peaceful compared to "eons gone by." That word choice is deliberate. You don't say eons if you're a normal person who's lived a normal life. He's been around for a very long time.

Pointed ears too — same as Nicole. The fallen angel theory is gaining traction in the community and honestly it makes sense. If that's true, his role in the story is much bigger than the trailer suggests.

Mitya — Barely Spoke, But It Matters

Mitya gets maybe ten seconds of screentime. Sitting in front of large machinery, reading. Says one thing: "the Kresnik's Torch."

That torch is Snezhnaya's heating system. And in the trailer it's freezing over. So the region's main crisis probably runs through Mitya somehow. Quiet characters in Genshin tend to carry the heaviest lore — Kazuha, Scaramouche, Nahida early on. Mitya might be the same.

Genshin Impact Crystal Management Before 7.0

Genshin Impact crystal has always required planning. Snezhnaya makes it harder because this isn't one banner — it's a long series of patches. Anastasya, Noy, Mitya all arriving at different times. You can't pull for all of them at once.

The most common mistake: spending everything on the first banner, then having nothing left for the character you actually wanted. Snezhnaya is going to make this easier to fall into because there are a lot of good characters coming.

Don't pull before collecting event rewards. Version 7.0 events will give solid primogems and crystal — missing those is just leaving free resources on the table.

Buy Crystal — When Does It Make Sense

One question before you buy crystal: which character specifically?

If Anastasya is the target and your reserves aren't enough, buying crystal at that point makes sense. But buying before banners are confirmed is risky. Wait for the schedule, then decide. Timing matters more than the amount here.
